In Indigenous cultures, relationships are built over time through trust, reciprocity, and mutual respect. Marketing to Indigenous communities requires the same approach—it's about creating lasting connections, not quick conversions.
The Circle Has Sacred Meaning
In Indigenous cultures, the circle represents wholeness, continuity, and interconnectedness. It has no beginning and no end— symbolizing the ongoing nature of relationships and the understanding that we are all connected. When I talk about "creating circles," I'm honoring this sacred concept: building communities where everyone is included, relationships are continuous, and the connection between brand and community flows naturally without hierarchy or end point. This is fundamentally different from linear marketing funnels that have a "start" and "finish."
